Ms Brown, Mr Tobin and 11 lucky students are departing from St.Chad's on Friday to have the fantastic experience of visiting our friends at Tongling Number 3 High School. They will also be going to Shanghai, Beijing, the Great Wall of China and many other world famous places! I am a member of the National Headteachers' China Network which met last week in London to develop Confucius Classroom links across the world and interestingly is now developing links with Oman and India - something St.Chad's is 'ahead of the game' in already after our recent visit to the Oman and reciprocal visit from an Indian delegation. The national network continue to be amazed at the success of St.Chad's as a Language College, Confucius Classroom and International School and we are firmly committed to our unique identity for the long-term. Great credit goes to Ms Brown, Mrs Burke, the Language College Team and the EAL team, of which Mrs Alexsic represented us in Oman. We hope the staff and students have a great time in China and we look forward to seeing and hearing about this amazing experience!
